Obviously, I’d need to improve my workshop before I could seriously start work! The Austin A7 and Series II Landy had gone (really, wood is my medium, not mechanics) leaving lots of lovely space to work with.

I toyed with mobile units, but settled on fixed benches on legs and braces that gave me chance to perfect my joints and try out the laser level. The router is set into the bench and the chop saw bolted down so that it can still easily be taken out if I need to use it on site. A dust extraction system keeps things a bit cleaner and the TNT chap keeps turning up with new boxes for me. What can you do?
