Junior FlatCap has a tiny box room but big computer aspirations. The solution was a high bed, supported by a wardrobe and storage cubby at one end and a scaffold rail ladder at the other, with a large desk and a couple of deep drawers underneath. The ply has a light varnish to give it a slight sheen, without hiding any of its structural beauty. He’s ‘sold’ his room to his younger brother now, and is starting a new project in another bedroom.
