When a past client asked if I could build him a bridge for his garden, “How hard could it be?” I thought.
Well, it turned out the pond was 4.5 m wide. So I started researching GluLam beams and how to build my own. Then it was research on glues and what to use near water. There were clamps to buy, geometry to be done and finally logistics of how to get 6.5m sections through the village. Teenage sons came in handy for that. The end result is a sleek structure that really looks at home over the pond
